What Surface Finishes Can We Offer?

Surface finish is an important part of furniture hardware. It not only affects the appearance of cabinet handles, knobs, and hooks, but also influences the final cost, production process, and quality control requirements.

At GIANT Hardware, we can support different surface finishes according to customers’ samples, drawings, or project requirements. Common finishes include electroplating, painting, anodizing, electrophoresis, brushed effects, and customized colors.

For zinc alloy products, common finishes include polished chrome, brushed nickel, matte black, antique brass, gold, and other plated or painted colors. Zinc alloy parts are usually polished before surface finishing, because the surface condition will directly affect the final appearance.

For aluminum products, anodizing and painting are commonly used. Aluminum profile handles can be made in finishes such as black, silver, champagne, gold, or other customized colors. Different aluminum materials and surface treatments may lead to different visual effects.

It is important to note that the same finish name may look different under different lighting, angles, materials, or production batches. For example, brushed nickel, stainless steel look, matte black, or gold finishes may have slight differences depending on polishing, plating, painting, and coating conditions.

To reduce misunderstanding, we always recommend customers provide physical samples, color references, or clear finish requirements before mass production. If needed, we can also prepare samples for confirmation before bulk orders.

Our goal is to provide stable and suitable surface finishes for furniture hardware products while helping customers choose the most practical solution for their projects.
